Team 3G Questions, Answered

Is the $100 Fee Annual or One-Time?

Team 3G membership is $100 per membership year, paid once for that year. It is an annual membership, not a lifetime membership. There is no automatic renewal.

Are Strength Plans Included With Membership?

Yes. Strength plans for triathletes are included with team membership. Our strength coach will share these plans in the Team 3G Facebook group.

What If I Join in October, November, or December?

Yes, the fee is $100, but new members joining in October, November, or December receive the remainder of that year plus the entire following membership year. For example, a new member joining in October 2027 is covered through December 31, 2028. This late-year benefit applies to new members.

Do I Need to Be a Triathlete to Join?

No. Team 3G welcomes swimmers, cyclists, runners, triathletes, and other endurance athletes of all abilities.

Can I Join If I Don’t Live in North Carolina?

Yes. Membership is open to adults age 18 and older living anywhere in the United States. Online benefits help you stay connected wherever you live; in-person opportunities vary by location.

How Long Does Membership Last?

Membership begins when registration is complete. The current registration is for the 2027 membership year, ending December 31, 2027. New members joining in October, November, or December of any year receive the remainder of that calendar year plus the entire following membership year for the same $100 fee.

Do Returning Members Receive Gear?

Yes. Returning members choose a 2027 T-shirt, visor, or hat. A new welcome packet is provided only to new members.

Is Membership Refundable?

Membership fees are nonrefundable, except where required by law. Please review the benefits and membership agreements before registering.

How Do I Use Kickstart?

Coach Erin will contact members when the next cohort opens to ask whether they’d like to participate. Kickstart is included once per person.
